I enjoy exploring, finding beauty and joy in relationships, nature, music, scripture, and other written word. I spend my time serving others, working to make a difference in the world through my vocation, and increasing my proximity to God.
I'm an old-fashioned romantic who enjoys lavishing attention on those I love. I'm sentimental. I enjoy nature walks and hiking, but I also enjoy curling up with a good book or watching a good movie.
I exercise regularly to stay in shape, but I'm not a nut about it. I live fairly simply, but I would not describe myself a minimalist.
I'm the kind of man that does dishes, cleans bathrooms, and folds laundry. I make my bed every day. My home is neat, clean and tidy, but I'm not obsessive about it.
I don't expect anything from anyone else that I am not willing to give. While I think relationships should be equitable, they don't necessarily have to be balanced to be fair.
I suppose the kind of person I am looking for is one who reads my self-description and says, "Yes, that's what I want, too!" However, we certainly don't have to be the same, just be willing to appreciate in the other what is valuable and true, having enough in common that life can be rich, joyful, and fun, but celebrate the differences as ways to add spice and occasionally depart from individual comfort zones.
The Gospel of Jesus Christ is central to my life. I'm looking for a person that has that same focus.

Someone who values goodness and is sincere about living the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Everyone has problems, as do I, so I'm not looking for someone that is perfect, but only someone that is striving to be perfect. While I think physical attraction is important in a relationship, empathy, spirituality, intelligence, humility, and goodness are traits I value at least as highly. The person I am looking for will be looking for those same traits in me--I am careful not to expect values in others that I am not willing to offer.
