I lost my wife to cancer but want to move on and serve the Lord with a companion. I have five children and 16 grandchildren so remaining close to them is very important. I love to serve others but it is always more joyful to have a companion by your side. I would love to serve a mission so I am looking for someone who has the health and desire to serve the Lord. I am retired, out of debt, healthy, and love to interact with others.

I am looking for someone with a strong testimony, loves the temple, and especially loves the Lord. I work hard to maintain an orderly and clean home so I would like someone who can join with me in maintaining a home where the spirit can constantly be felt. I enjoy working in the yard and garden and love to share the fruits of my garden with others. (I don’t eat much that comes from my garden!) For exercise, I ride my bike regularly or walk my dog.

Some attributes that I am looking for in addition to things already mentioned are:
- Honesty and a willingness to talk about all things
- Someone that is financially responsible
- Willing to serve the Lord when and where called
- Desirous to get to know and love my family as I want to get to know and love their family.
- Wanting to make special events and holidays memorable and fun
- Willing to support me in my callings and through any health challenges as I would want to support them. At present, I don’t have any significant health issues.
- Someone to hold hands with, who I can put my arm around, laugh with, and shed a tear with. Warning: I cry during almost all Hallmark movies.
