Me describiría a mi mismo como
Oh, somehow I wasn't expecting to write about me. Okay then. I'm retired. I spent half my career in Information Technology and the last half in law enforcement. I was an assistant vice president at Chase Bank and then spent my last 16 years working as a sergeant in a sheriff's office. I spent most of my career supervising and managing small groups.
My Meyers-Briggs personality type is an INTJ, so my employment choices were completely reasonable for someone loving logic, procedures, and rules. And there's no missing that introverted "I", I'm pretty shy until I really get to know someone. I'm not fond of groups unless I can blend in. And I feel just like Mr. Monk did about change (If you saw the TV show "Monk"). He was telling his assistant that he likes change. She instantly objected saying, "Mr. Monk, you do NOT like change. His perfect reply was, "I'm okay with change. I just don't like being there when it happens." I completely get that.
Hobbies? I have too many interests. I need help paring things down.
My goals are pretty simple. I just want to love someone who will love me back. Maybe someone can coax me out of my shell. I'm pretty content with being at home. I was out and about enough for decades working. I simply want to enjoy time being happy now.
I joined the Church when I was 20 and left on a mission two years later. I served in Belgium and France. I like to imagine that I can still speak French.
I am a horrible teacher. Fortunately, I seem to have "clerk" stamped on my head and have performed nearly clerk role that exists. And at least one that doesn't anymore. It fits my personality perfectly, so I'm quite content in those roles.
Currently, I'm a stake temple and family history consultant and have a four hour shift on Thursdays.
