Being raised LDS, I fully accepted and appreciated that I would be a wife and a mother one day. Because outside of the church, that goal is undervalued and even looked down on, yet THAT is what I wanted more than anything, my whole life! So, I have 4 beautiful children under 6. They are my life! My pride and joy, my reason for living, my whole heart. I DO want more, I come from a family of 6 and have always wanted as many kids as I could get.
Now, because a single mom is NOT on some people's radar here's the gist. I barely dated and was so afraid I would never get my dream that I settled. I thought that my husband would love me and our children enough to change his very selfish ways. But he wasn't a bad guy and didn't ever hit or anything, and other married women have it so much worse, so I stayed. But I felt like I was raising my children alone, with a roommate who tolerated them, but said roommate paid all the bills so, what can I do? I'm living my dream of being a stay at home mom but I was hoping for some enjoyable company along the way. So if divorce is imminent, wouldn't sooner be better?
So THAT is what I'm looking for. I am looking for someone that can support me in being a stay at home mom, wants more kids and can be my friend. I married out of desperation and convinced myself that I love him and it will all work out, but I want a partner in crime! I want someone who is just as excited to go to the park with us as the kids! I want someone who WANTS to hold the baby, or watch the kids so I can go have a movie night with my (non-existent) friends.
Because I've become MOM, I haven't had the time or means to make friends since as soon as I leave the house I get phone calls about what to do with the kids, it's easier to take them with me!
So, if you've read this far, here's more about what I like to do: I am an avid DIY-er and penny pincher. I have a weird knack for falling in love with the cheapest items at the store. I love anything to do with any games: board games, card games, video games, puzzles, games like hide-and-seek, freeze tag, kube, laser tag, etc. And not because I'm competetive, I enjoy the play of the game! I love trying to be active, I will NEVER say no to swimming! I wanted to be a marine biologist (dolohin trainer, same diff) as a kid, but being from land-locked Montana, and missing my mountains while serving my mission, I could never live in a hot, tropical area! 😅But I love being crafty. Not ARTSY, as I can't draw more that a stick figure to save my life. I love eating a balanced diet and wish I was in better shape, but when I collected keychains in my youth, my favorite was: "Eat well. Stay fit. Die anyway." And my life's motto is that "I'd rather have it and NOT need it, than NEED it and not have it." I love music and LOVE listening to the oldies. I love most anything before the '90's, after that I get very picky. I love languages and speak several. My love language is touch, so snuggling and hugs and loves are my favorite. I love watching shows and movies, I will watch most anything at least once. I do NOT do horror-even though my kids are OBSESSED with Halloween and spooky things. I also do NOT keep up on tabloids, and I'm one of the lowest maintenence girls out there. I love trying new things and love road trips and adventures-even if it's a campout in the backyard. I have no pets because I just don't like all the hair. But I'm open to discussion.
