Author Scott H Young said "...passions are built, but interests are discovered." I have a thirst for life. For learning new things intellectually and learning new skillsets. I've been called a "polymathic" - you'll probably have to look that one up! I enjoy traveling, learning about other cultures, other people and their adventures and passions. I can quickly swap from academia hat, to farm girl, to tender, to fun, to quirky or to mischievous as the opportunity presents itself. I am looking for similar in a man. To make each other laugh, contemplate life's challenges and nuances, find simple pleasures in unusual settings and be in quiet intimacy enjoying each other and life is what I want. I love to be with family, and friends - yours and mine. I offer myself as real, no pretenses, no trying to be someone I'm not, and want the same from you. I am strong, independent, resourceful and like many activities that typically mostly men like. I have diverse talents that hopefully you will like. I am looking for someone interesting, bright and with a passion for life, fun, traveling, learning and having passionate discussions (but not angry ones - it takes a lot to ruffle my feathers and prefer an equally emotionally-controlled man). I guess I should probably add here that I am emotionally stable and happy most of the time and not on any medications. I'm a health-nut, very much into herbs, wholesome organic foods, and pasture-raised meats. I love gardening and everything outdoors. I have a successful business, but probably won't be retiring for another few years despite being in my mid-60's. But I love what I do! I am strong as a lioness, but gentle as a kitten! (see pic).
