I’m a game-playing, nature-loving, traveling teacher, mom and grandma:) #tshirtsjeans&chacos
A few truths: 1) Yellowstone is one of the best places on earth 2) Jane Austen is one of the greatest authors of all time 3) A night playing games with family is as much fun as Disneyland 4) Nothing beats grandkid hugs 5) Memories are worth more than possessions 6)Being authentic is more important than being accepted.
Safety, trust, and understanding are key. My kids, grandkids, and I deserve the best. I’m a mother of four adult girls and a grandma to four of the most adorable kids ever. We’ve lived through a lot and hope there is someone worthy of our devotion. To accept me is to accept my kids, but I will reciprocate that unconditional love. I am patient and fiercely loyal.
Clearly, I come from a complicated past, yet I’m still standing, smiling, & trusting God, in spite of trauma. Not gonna lie, I’ve been through a lot. But my friends would tell you that despite all the hard I’ve had to live through, I am compassionate, kind, and pretty darn optimistic. I serve my family and my students with my full heart. My family’s history isn’t for the faint hearted, but we are awesome.
I love family, star-gazing on camping trips, bird watching, great food (though I don’t cook as much as I used to —#takeout, lol), a good laugh, sunshine, air conditioning, my puppies, and fishing with my dad on Lake Powell. I’m told I’m the best grandma ever, and I wear that title with pride.
I am a night owl. I can binge watch a show, shoot the breeze all night, read until dawn, and play games til I drop in my tracks.
I’m down-to-earth, take-me-as-I-am, comfortable, kind, and compassionate. I’m a straight shooter. Even in high school I was blunt about my values and interest. That hasn’t changed.
For now, I’m looking for friendship and dating as a step towards a potential future.
